You may have seen this movie in betamax back when you were still young. The least, you may have heard it from friends. This 1985 movie produced by Walt Disney Pictures is a semi-sequel of the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz. The young dorothy who played in this movie is actress Fairuza Balk who we would often link to the witchy character in the craft. 
The story of the movie took off as Dorothy returning back to Oz only to find out that things aren't the same anymore. Worse, things in Oz definitely do not look right. She saw thatthe yellow brick road was broken, the Scarecrow who should be ruling Oz is missing, the Emerald City lost all its emeralds and there are wheelers everywhere! 
With the help of Billina, Dorothy's talking chicken, she sets off to solve everything to put back her beloved Oz back to its beauty. As she encountered the wheelers, she used a key she found when she was still in Kansas to open a secret wall to hide. In it, she met Tik-Tok, the royal army guard of Oz. Tik-tok is a clockwork robot. He helped Dorothy escape from the wheelers to reach Princess Mombi's castle, who is very much like an evil witch. Mombi can change her appearance according to her wish by putting on a head that she likes among the 31 in her possession. Knowing that Dorothy could post hindrance to her absolute ruling over Oz, she locked Dorothy and Billina in the attic. As chance have it, they met Jack Pumpkinhead who claims to be made by his mom to scare the witch-like princess (Mombi). Jack helped Dorothy build a flying machine using the head of a gump and the powder of life, the very same powder that Mombi used to bring Jack to life as an experiment and the one that Dorothy stole from her. 
The Gump was brought to life because of the powder and they managed to escape Mombi. But as their luck ran out, they crashed right into the Nome King's mountain. As what Mombi told Dorothy, the Nome King was responsible for all the things that had happened to Oz. Dorothy faced the Nome King in attempt to free Oz from darkness and as she cried the Nome King pitied her. So she and the others were given the chance to enter a room full of ornaments. They each have 3 chances to guess who among the ornaments are their friends. All failed and turned into an ornament except for Dorothy who also happened to free the scarecrow. Enraged, the Nome King attacked Dorothy and her friends and tried to eat Jack's head but it in is Bellina who happens to lay an egg into the King's mouth.
